Some people will want to wait for the 5. Some, need a phone now, and happen to like the white. Some people will like the white so much that they will pay extra for it. You get to make your own decisions regarding the matter - including the right to not buy a smartphone at all. Why all the hatin'? :)

Americans are stunningly uninformed on 1949-41, it is a period that is a huge blank in history books. Much easier to tell the story of Pearl Harbor and ignore the back-story. Ignore the fact that if America had had a little testicular fortitude in those earlier years, millions of people probably would not have died. But at least we got Casablanca, Saving Private Ryan and Pink Floyd's the Wall.
Yet this is the second time you come here and tell us how our point of view/perception is wrong, and don't give us any information as to what really happened.
In what way does this change the issue? Japan needed oil we refused to give it to them, if America had been in their position odds are we would have done the same. It seems to me that by world standards the war was perfectly justified.
Not giving something you own to someone else is not an act of war. Besides, the USA didn't placed the oil embargo out of nothing. Japan started a war first, hence the oil embargo.
Not that war is ever justified but I fail to see how the Japanese are/were any worse than any other invading army which has ever existed.
Because being the first to act and start a war is very different from being the one who entered the war to defend itself and their allies.
I mean, Japan became and ally to Germany. You can't become ally to the country who is trying to conquer Europe (and performing several atrocities in the path) and expect to be treated differently.

Hi.
After upgrading my computer and my software (from Tiger to Leopard) a strange thing happened: my Airport signal (which was the strongest before) is at the middle. But the strangest thing is that, when I open Network Preferences, my internet connection is showed as a PCI Ethernet slot 3, port 3 connection (although it shows an Airport icon); for Airport, it says it's connected but it has no IP address! I have a PCI Ethernet card, but it's not connected.
I also intalled a PCI USB 2.0 card, but I don't think it has anything to do with that.
Any ideas?

#1 - it has taken them almost a year to work out the paint issues with this thing meaning that they have been putting R&D money effertlessly into a phone color, all for what?
I can imagine that Apple provides detailed specs to the manufacturers of the glass and that there is a bidding process involved. That means that any deviation from the provided specs after production will have to be corrected at the cost and time of the manufacturer, not Apple.
If this is actually the case, than the manufacturer can even be held accountable for the loss in sales.

You will only loose your rollover minutes if you switch plan types. Example from Family Talk to a single line plan. Changing minutes will not effect your roll over minutes.

You know what people should be concerning themselves with today instead of this non-issue? The credit card and personal information of 77 MILLION users that was stolen from the Sony network this week. Now THAT is an issue.

Easiest solution would be for Google to port their current maps and navigation software to iOS. Not that Apple would allow it, and not that Google would want to do it :). I love competition...

Has anyone had a close look at the main picture on Apple's preview page? The sender of the email in the top pane is 'Katie Lorenzo' but in the preview pane her name is 'Amy Lorenzo'. Also, the delivery time is out by almost an hour.

Nah, it's probably just a mistake on apple's part (after all, i don't think this website has been officially released yet since we can't find links to it). I say that it is not photoshopped because i'm currently logged into .mac through the cited webpage. So yeah, it's real, otherwise i wouldn't be logged into .mac at the top.
